Zwift Cog
Our second-generation Zwift Cog comes with a multi-trainer freehub or with no freehub. The multi-trainer freehub is for easy installation for a wide variety of smart trainers. Check the extensive list here.
Experience compatibility with almost any 8-12-speed bike and enjoy the ease of virtual shifting. It even comes with a chain guard for mess and maintenance-free riding, keeping your drivetrain smooth and secure.
Multi-Trainer Freehub
Majority of smart trainers come with a pre-installed freehub body. This is what the cassette or Zwift Cog is installed on. Zwift has developed a multi-trainer freehub that is compatible with the majority of Zwift Ready trainers.
No Freehub
The No Freehub Zwift Cog is the right choice for trainers that are not compatible with the Multi-Trainer Freehub. Instead, you can mount the Zwift Cog on the freehub that’s already on your trainer. You will require a cassette chain whip and a lockring tool to remove your cassette and replace it with the Zwift Cog.

Adjustable Sprocket Positioning
Zwift Cog v2 offers adjustable sprocket alignment for wider bike compatibility and optimal chain positioning. The anti-chain drop housing ensures secure rides, while compatibility with 8-12 speed drivetrains and a multi-trainer freehub expands your options. Finished in Zwift’s signature orange, it adds style to your setup.

Got this as an upgrade for my old Wahoo core. No more messing around with an extra cassette. The cog is well designed and quiet. The virtual shifting is smooth and improved indoor riding experience mainly for racing.
Turn any bike into a 12-speed machine, as long as you have a chain! Well worth the money…
Adding this to the origional Zwift hub trainer made my trainer almost silent and when i added a zwift ride as well to the set up i was blown away with how quiet it was - well worth the upgrade
It took some getting used to the difference in the way that the gear changes feel (when compared to a traditional road cassette), but ultimately, I'm not used to it and it is better for turbo training.
It is quieter, smoother and adds a couple of additional gears. If you stream your rides (like I do), giving the viewer the means to see your chosen gear on-screen is also an added bonus.
Excellent purchase! I'm very pleased with this. Would love the ability to have TWO clicks (Tops & Drops or one on each side of the bar), but it works fantastically well, pairs instantly with Zwift and is a welcome addition to my setup.
I upgraded my zwift hub that had a 12 speed cassette. This worked out cheaper than changing the cassette (the supplied 12 speed cassette from the zwift hub didn’t match my 11-34 cassette exactly and as such wasn’t very pleasant to ride). Changing this (supplied with freehub) was very easy to do.
Also my partner can now easily change it from thru axle to quick release to put her 9 speed bike on the trainer as she’s too small for my bike. Overall I would reccomend this if you can’t justify the zwift ride (although I think we will get a zwift ride at some point in the future!)
