Would be 5* if it wasnt for the constant connection drop outs

Initially I was really impressed. Being able to control everything without keyboard and/or phone was a game changer and made the experience far more immersive. However, the constant bluetooth connection dropouts are frustrating and often leave me forced to use the companion app on the phone.

No more stretching to a screen.

Arrived quickly after paying the Beta price of £99. Packaging excellent although I would have preferred a more detailed user guide. Easy charging and battery life is exceptional. I had to pair the units via my phone but don’t consider this to be an issue as signal has been 100% reliable so far. Response from unit is slow when selecting worlds/workouts etc but once in the “game” ( Indoor training environment ) they work perfectly. No issues with the size or positioning of the units. I’m currently using an Elite trainer but I would expect even better compatibility with a Zwift trainer with single gear set up. Ties you to the Zwift universe but I can’t see any reason to try an alternative platform . Would have been a five star review if I had a Zwift hub and printed user guide.

    So far so good.

I've just received these controllers. Really fast delivery. Well packaged. Easy to setup. After a test ride, these controllers are exactly what I wanted. I really hated leaning forward and using the keyboard on my Macbook whenever I wanted to send 'Ride Ons' etc. Time will tell if I'll still rate them a 5 but a good start,

    Immerse yourself into Zwift

I loved riding on Zwift but all I did was spin my legs. Using the companion was better, but I could never use it with zwifty fingers. Now, I can show my appreciation of blobs straight away with ride on bombs with a quick hold down of the z button, initiate bonus perks with a press of the y button, choose my route with a few presses, and, the thing that I think adds value to the game- use the best racing line in races with the steering function; I rode a quick race today- and by the third lap I had ridden 19.8km and the person behind me, 20km. The controllers definitely makes the zwift experience more immersive and enjoyable experience. I need more levels like repack rush, and I'm looking forward to races against other riders with the controllers which include different avoidable or 'catchable' elements. Good stuff Zwift.

and now it's a Wahoo KickR core Zwift one

So with the recent update to the Wahoo Kicker core firmware and with spending £99 It's now effectively a Zwift hub with bells on.

Using iPad (about 5 years old) and Kickr cadence and HR monitor all work together very well.

Not had any drop outs and not running the companion app, have good Broadband - although not in best location.

So far very pleased with it. Much quieter and will reduce wear on cassette and rear mech.
