No need to buy a brand-new treadmill to start Zwifting. There’s a whole new way to run on Zwift, thanks to the Runn Smart Treadmill Sensor from North Pole Engineering.
The Runn sensor easily installs onto the side rail of most treadmills. Using an optical speed sensor to track belt rotation speed, Runn broadcasts data directly back to Zwift via BLE and ANT+.
What does this mean? You get the most accurate speed, distance, incline, and cadence data while running on Zwift. Helping you level up every time you train.

Easy to set-up and to operate. As other reviewers have highlighted, the belt stickers do quickly fall off, but evo-stick has secured them effectively.
Easy to mount and set up
This unit was surprizingly easy to setup. Using both Zwift and the treadmill's own speedometer it was also surprizingly acurate. You have to remember to charge the unit up before use. I do think that the sensors on the unit should be a little closer to the edge of the unit which will let you move it back a bit more so you do not catch it whilst running. This is soloved by where you place the unit.
A good unit for runners and walkers with non smart treadmills.
Early days but Runn seems to be working as it should. Zwift distance matches treadmill distance which I calibrated a while ago.
Easy to install as long as you take time to get it right first time. Sticky marker pads need a good rub with a finger nail to get them to sit in any roughness on the belt, stuck three on and they're still there after three short runs.
Haven't calibrated incline yet but believe it can be done by following instructions on North Pole Engineering app.
No negatives......yet ! So all looking good so far.
Works great with my manual treadmill. It does everything that I needed it to do & works perfectly with both Zwift and Kinomap. Zwift delivery to the UK was super quick (2 days).
